Mansoorali Lakhani is the visionary and brain behind the beginnings of Lakhani Hospitality and Lakhani Enterprises. Born in Karachi, Pakistan, his journey and success in America is not simply the traditional American dream; it is much more than that. The adversity he faced growing up has contributed to his bold leadership in directing Lakhani Hospitality in to a new era.

As the COO for Lakhani Hospitality, Sheila leads the integration of core management functions and development of long-term operational, performance, and growth strategies. Her success as a leader in hospitality comes from her experience working in all aspects of hotel operations. In the past, she worked as the General Manager, where she directed the operating, sales, and catering efforts. Through her years of hotel service, Sheila has gained proven leadership expertise in hospitality operations, sales, and staff development, making her a valuable asset to Lakhani Hospitality. As the brand ambassador, Sheila has found innovative ways to imbue her father’s vision and legacy into the fabric of the business, successfully leading Lakhani Hospitality’s growth over the last two decades while also overseeing multiple hotel renovation projects. As an industry veteran, Sheila has a proven track record of developing winning management teams, building culture, and delivering results.
Karim Mansoorali Lakhani

Karim first fell in love with the hotel industry at the age of 14, when he began working at the front desk of his family’s hotel. Set on a career in the industry, Karim went on to study hospitality at Cornell University, graduating summa cum laude at the top of his class with a B.S. in Hotel Administration.Following school, Karim joined the family company, focusing on the operations of their existing three Chicagoland full-service Holiday Inn properties and leading the development of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Niles, IL. In 2016, Karim left to attend Harvard Law School, receiving his J.D. in 2019.
Following law school, Karim returned to Lakhani Hospitality, serving as the company’s legal counsel, and as the company’s Director of Operations and Development. In his role, Karim led the development of the avid hotel Chicago O’Hare – Des Plaines, the company’s sixth hotel and the state’s first avid hotel.
Starting in April of 2022, Karim became the company’s Chief Development Officer, charged with the company’s future growth through new development and acquisitions.

As a hospitality professional with over 10 years of operational, asset management and financial experience. Mr. Gaba has a proven ability in building people resources that enhance operational capabilities and in creating a dynamic business culture. Mr. Gaba has had P&L responsibility up to $35 million in revenue across Lakhani Hospitality in IL.Mr. Gaba oversaw and developed 5 properties; improving their profitability, performance scores and positioning for sale.
Vincent Ziga
Regional Director of Sales
Vincent Ziga, a 25 year veteran of the hospitality industry, joined Lakhani Hospitality in 2014 and was named Regional Director of Sales & Marketing where he is responsible for creating and driving innovative branding, communications, marketing and business development strategies to increase awareness, capture market share and build revenue. As part of the company’s multichannel marketing operations, Vincent stewards its centers of excellence including revenue management, global sales, e-commerce, customer loyalty, branding, advertising, communications, web and digital marketing. Since joining Lakhani Hospitality in 2014, Vincent has directed the team in achieving their individual sales goals and maximized the revenue potential for all 5 hotels within the Lakhani Portfolio. In addition to leading and supporting the Lakhani Sales Team, Vincent specializes in Corporate Business Transient and group meetings. Vincent delivers exceptional value and support to his client base pulling from his vast industry experience and has been a consistent top producer in the company since joining in 2014. Vincent began his career at the Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel & Resort at the Front Desk and after moving to Convention Reservations was later promoted to Convention Center Sales. In 1995 Vincent was named Senior Sales Manager for Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel & Resort and in 1998 assisted the opening of the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. He spent Nine years with Caesars Entertainment then returned back home to Chicago, IL where he began his journey as Director of Sales & Marketing leading teams with various brands such as Hilton, Starwood, IHG and boutique hotels. Vincent has donated his time mentoring new students within the Hospitality Industry teaching in various colleges around the city of Chicago and graduated from the University of Las Vegas with a degree in Hospitality & Marketing.
